SaaS Product, UI/UX, Design System, MVP Development
2024-2025
About The project
Kuberly is a SaaS platform designed to empower developers to build and deploy applications effortlessly without requiring DevOps expertise. By automating AWS and Kubernetes operations, Kuberly simplifies cloud resource management, reduces operational costs, and enhances efficiency.
Challenges
Cognitive Overload from AWS Complexity:
Non-DevOps users face high cognitive load due to overwhelming services, parameters, and terminology, making onboarding and daily operations difficult.
Fragmented Cost Visibility and Predictability:
Lack of transparent, actionable cost insights leaves users unable to control or forecast budgets effectively.
Inflexible User Journeys for Scaling:
Users struggle to scale infrastructure because tools lack flexible, scenario-driven pathways tailored to business growth.
What was done
The team had a ready-made analysis of competitors and conducted interviews. Based on the data, they created User Personas, Empathy Maps, and CJM.
I joined the project at the final stage of research. My main responsibility was to finalize the user flow, create the design system and components, develop the interface, and gradually improve it based on feedback from the first customers.
In collaboration with developers, I connected Ant Design System. I customized the UI and developed UX solutions. The first level of validation was moderated testing with the team. The second level was QA testing. After the MVP release, we collected initial customer feedback and iteratively implemented changes.
Results
The project with the design solution I implemented received investment, launched successfully, and attracted its first customers.
A fully customized design system helps developers quickly implement ideas without the intervention of a designer for simple tasks.
